Parthian is an Iranian language of the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-Euroepan language family. It is attested from the 1st century BC to the 3rd century AD. Besides the large corpus of Manichean texts, it is attested only by short texts on coins, pottery and by several inscriptions.
